WANTED: A faithful minister for the lush Huon Valley

The Huon Valley is celebrated for its natural beauty, cultural heritage, and tight-knit communities. Surrounded by lush forests, rolling hills, and the Huon River, the area offers a tranquil lifestyle shaped by Tasmania’s rich history. Huonville has seen a lot of growth in recent years, especially with many young families moving to the valley. However, many residents still experience financial hardship, limited job opportunities, and rely on community support services. This creates many opportunities for them to serve the community, provide practical support, and share the hope and love of Jesus with their neighbours in the Valley.

Huon Anglican is in Ranelagh, just 3km out of the central hub of the Huon Valley, and they are looking for their new minister. Through the grace of God and hard work, the Parish is stable and growing, with an average Sunday attendance of 80 people. They have lots of active ministries and are looking for someone to lead them into the next phase of their growth.

There is a keen and active group of lay leaders in the parish, and there is a legacy of great work that can be built upon. And of course, God is at work.
