City Minister, All Saints Anglican Network, Launceston
LOOKING FOR: A faithful, gospel-hearted minister to lead the largest of our Network churches
The All Saints Anglican Network is one of two large Anglican churches in Tasmania’s northern city. It is a network of four distinct churches across the city: there is one in the Launceston CBD, one in the South East, one in the Northern Suburbs, and one up at the head of the Tamar River, in George Town. This position is a full-time role leading the church at All Saints City in Launceston, Tasmania.
The successful applicant will be happy living and ministering in a small city (population 70,000), with a fantastic foodie scene (named as a UNESCO City of Gastronomy in 2021), with minimal traffic (everywhere in town is 10 minutes drive), and a stones throw from dozens of wineries.
All Saints City is a mid-sized church with three congregations, offering a range of worship styles from traditional prayerbook services to relaxed and informal gatherings, including a monthly youth service. With an average weekly attendance of around 170 people, the church represents the breadth and diversity found within Anglican worship.
This vibrant church is looking for a prayerful servant-leader with gifts as a pastor/teacher who will thrive leading a church whilst belonging to a wider Network team. They would love someone with experience and a passion for church renewal, a strategic thinker with an evangelistic heart, but we are committed to appointing the right person to the role – with a remuneration package structured accordingly. If you feel a spark of excitement, grab the position description, and if it resonates with you, don’t hesitate to apply.
Come and join a passionate team of paid staff and volunteers to serve God’s Kingdom here in Tasmania.
