Anglican Church of Tasmania will join National Redress Scheme

Friday 1 March 2019 – The Anglican Bishop of Tasmania, The Right Revd Dr Richard Condie, has received confirmation today that the Anglican Diocese of Tasmania’s application to join the Anglican participating group (Anglican Representative National Redress Scheme Limited) has been approved.

“I am pleased to have received confirmation that the Directors of the Anglican participating group assessed our application on Thursday, 28 February 2019 and have approved our membership.

The Department of Social Services will receive the documentation in early March and we fully expect to be part of the National Redress Scheme by the end of the month,” said Bishop Condie.
