EVENT: Do we still need Creeds?
Have you ever recited a Creed in church, and wondered what it’s all about? Would you like to have a taste of going deeper in this with a theological college lecturer?
2025 marks the 1700th anniversary of the Nicene Creed. How did this creed come into existence and why does it still matter for today? Dr. Mike Bird, lecturer in Theology at Ridley College, will explore these questions and try to convince you as to why you need the creed for your church, worship, and devotional life.
There will be lots of information and plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Plus you can find out more about the options for studying theology through Ridley.
