Anglican Tasmanian Fire Disaster Appeal
Severe fires are affecting Tasmanians in many parts of the State, especially on the East Coast.
The Anglican Church has launched an appeal to help those in the greatest need with relief and recovery.
There has been tragic loss of property, livestock and serious disruptions to livelihoods as a result of devastating fires.
Experience shows that Government assistance and insurance payouts can go only so far in meeting the needs of those hardest hit by disastrous weather events.
All funds contributed to the Anglican Tasmanian Disaster Fund are tax deductible and will be distributed directly through Anglican parishes in the worst affected areas.
