Rector, East Coast Anglican
The Anglican Parish of the East Coast of Tasmania is based around the small towns of Triabunna and Swansea on the beautiful lower East Coast of Tasmania. The parish is looking for their new Rector who will lead the church in implementing and fulfilling their local vision, in line with the Diocesan vision to be a church for Tasmania, making disciples of Jesus.
It is an exciting time for the parish and community, with a number of developments taking place including the recent opening of the Parish Centre at Triabunna, a wonderful space that will be used for future ministry and by the wider community.
The Parish are looking forward to working with the new incumbent to-
- Build on the good foundations in place for outreach to children, young people and families, particularly in Triabunna area. Utilising the opportunities created by the new parish centre and housing development in Triabunna.
- Continue to develop public worship services across the parish that are focussed on the glory of the Lord Jesus and aimed at growing discipleship.
- Building spiritual maturity in our congregations and church members.
