An overview of Christian Ethics for everyday living

Have you ever had questions about ethics and wondered how to tackle them as a Christian? Would you like to have a taste of going deeper in this with a theological college lecturer?

Ridley College lecturer in Christian Thought, Dr Scott Harrower, will be in Tasmania in September and is running the same workshop in Launceston and Hobart. There will be lots of information and opportunities to ask questions. Plus you can find out more about the options for studying theology through Ridley.

Scott writes:

This seminar offers people an introduction to Christian ethics. During our time together we explore the foundations and content of secular ethics and Christian ethics with respect to the human person. The similarities and differences between these two approaches will be clarified. Then, the importance of the three key concerns of theological ethics will be outlined, these are: commitments to God and to one another, Christlike character, and outcomes aligned with the kingdom of God.
